iPRES 2025 in Wellington

iPRES 2025 | will take place at Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre, and online, from November 3rd to 7th 2025. The conference is proudly hosted by the National Library of New Zealand and Archives New Zealand.

iPRES is an international community of digital preservation researchers and practitioners. A key element of iPRES conferences is their inclusiveness. Experts from all parts of the world contribute to shaping the conference to ensure that it meets the needs of both seasoned and new digital preservation practitioners, and that the programme embraces new perspectives. Since its inception in 2004, iPRES conferences have been held across four continents. However, this will be the first-ever iPRES in Aotearoa New Zealand, and only the second time it has been hosted in the South Pacific.
