IIPC GA and WAC 2020

The Organising Committee of the 2020 Web Archiving Conference (WAC) and the General Assembly (GA) has decided to cancel this year’s events scheduled to be hosted by Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ). The annual conference provides a unique opportunity for the international web archiving community to come together and exchange ideas which is why we initially rescheduled the conference hoping that it could take place later this year. However, considering the uncertainty around COVID-19 and possible travel restrictions, we had to make the difficult decision to cancel the in-person meeting.

We are currently working with the WAC Programme Committee and the National Library of Luxembourg, the host of the 2021 conference, on alternatives which we can offer the authors of accepted submissions to present their papers. More information will be available in the first weeks of July.

If you have registered for the conference, you will automatically be refunded in the following days. If necessary, you can contact info@fmdoc.org.
