Browsertrix QA Demo
This demonstration by Webrecorder will focus on the new machine-assisted Quality Assurance (QA) features in Browsertrix 1.10, the final piece of IIPC-funded work on the cloud-native Browsertrix web archiving platform.
The demonstration will cover running an Analysis Run on completed crawls, which compares per-page heuristics such as screenshot comparison and extracted text comparison from what that browser saw during crawling against the page’s replay from the crawl’s WACZ files, with the goal of quickly identifying pages that may have issues in crawl or replay. It will then continue with how users can score and leave notes on pages as well as on the crawl as a whole, and how this data is integrated throughout the application.
Lessons learned and future QA development goals will also be discussed.
