The National Library Board Singapore (NLB) began web archiving of Singapore-related websites in 2006. In 2019, the National Library Board Act was updated to enable NLB to archive publicly available content from .sg websites, and any prescribed website associated with Singapore. Non .sg websites that are owned by Singaporeans or Singapore organisations/institutions continue to be archived via permission seeking.
Currently NLB performs whole of domain crawls, quarterly pre-identified selective harvests, and thematic harvests. The collection is accessible through the Web Archive Singapore portal.
