The venue is easily reached by public transport (train, bus and tram—see location on Google Maps). The registration desk will be by the reception area just inside the revolving door.

Accessibility

The venue is accessible to people in wheelchairs and with other restrictions. All conference rooms have elevators between floors. Teleloop is accessible in all conference rooms.

A changing table is available at the HC toilet on the ground floor, and we have a room reserved for nursing.

Food and beverage

Renowned Michelin restaurant CREDO will open a new concept at the National Library in Autumn 2024. They will also operate the canteen and cafeteria on our premises.

There is a variety of restaurants and bars (see in Google Maps) in the neighbourhood offering something for every taste.

WiFi

We offer access to eduroam and NB-gjest (open guest network). Eduroam is recommended for eligible users, as it is encrypted. If using NB-Gjest, we advise you to enable VPN, as the network is wide open.

NOTE: Please log on to eduroam with only one device at a time to avoid overwhelming the network.

Exhibition Tours

The National Library of Norway houses two permanent exhibitions: Enlightened and The Map Centre.

The exhibitions are free and open to all between 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. However, during the conference, the National Library will also offer 30-minute guided tours between 10:00 am - 3:00 pm with a maximum of 20 people per tour.

Want to take a tour of these exhibitions? Be sure to indicate your interest when you register for the conference.
