- session number
- presentation name (short)
- last name of submitter
- (ex. SESSION01-SHORT_TITLE-LASTNAME or POSTER-SHORT_TITLE-LASTNAME).
- Presentations should be in PowerPoint or Google Slides with a 16:9 ratio.
- If you intend to use videos or audio in your panel or presentation, we suggest sending your slides in early enough to allow time for the AV team to test.
Please also plan to bring your presentation to the conference on a USB stick or your laptop in the event of unforeseen technical issues. Mac users are required to bring their own adapters.
- No lightning talk will be allowed to overrun their 5-minute or 1-minute allotment.
- Avoid including audio, video, and/or clickable links in your slides.
- Posters should be, at maximum, A1 (594 mm width x 841 mm length) – portrait orientation.
- We expect you to print your poster and bring it to WAC. When you arrive at the conference, you can drop it off at the registration desk.
- Please label your poster with a) poster session number, b) the poster’s short title, and c) the last name of the presenter–and make sure that the label is clearly visible–for organisation and setup purposes.
- You may wish to prepare a handout to pin to the poster and/or include a short URL or QR code to link to an online resource.
- Your poster will be displayed in Folkestova from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday afternoon, and the accompanying 1-minute lightning talks will be presented at a 30-minute poster slam on Wednesday, 9 April in Målstova wherein presenters will line up in order of the program.
- After the poster slam has concluded, presenters and attendees will move to Folkestova for the poster session, during which attendees can move about freely to view posters and discuss them further with presenters.
We recommend you bring a back-up of your presentation on a USB stick and/or personal laptop as well as any adapters you may need.
Check the speakers briefing documents for additional details.
