VENUE
The 2025 Conference will take place at the KBR - Royal Library of Belgium, located at Mont des Arts 28, 1000, Brussels, in the historic centre of Brussels, immediately next to Brussels‑Central railway station.
Opening hoursLibrary opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 09:00–17:00. Conference and meeting rooms follow the event programme schedule.

How to get there
On foot
From Brussels‑Central Station (Brussel‑Centraal / Bruxelles‑Central), KBR is a 2–5 minute walk, depending on which station exit you use. Follow the signs for Mont des Arts / Kunstberg. The main public entrance is located at Mont des Arts 28.
By train
- Brussels‑Central Station (Brussel‑Centraal / Bruxelles‑Central) is the closest railway station to KBR. KBR is a 2–5 minute walk, depending on which station exit you use. Follow the signs for Mont des Arts / Kunstberg. The main public entrance is located at Mont des Arts 28.
- From Brussels Airport (Zaventem), direct trains run to Brussels‑Central approximately every 10–15 minutes, with a journey time of about 18 minutes. Timetables and tickets are available via the Belgian national rail operator.
- From Brussels South Charleroi Airport, take a TEC bus from the airport to Charleroi‑Central railway station (approximately 20 minutes), then a train to Brussels‑Central. Trains run at least twice per hour, with a total travel time of approximately 1 hour 15–30 minutes, depending on the connection. Rail connections and tickets can be checked on the NMBS/SNCB website.
- For international train travel to and from Belgium (including Eurostar, TGV and ICE services), tickets and schedules are available via the NMBS/SNCB International website.
By metro, tram or bus

ACCESSIBILITY | ACCOMMODATIONS
- A breastfeeding room is available in the building.
- A quiet room with the possibility to lie down is available for visitors who need rest or reduced sensory stimulation.
- The Mont des Arts square includes stairs, but signposted step‑free routes are available to reach the entrance. A limited number of parking spaces for persons with reduced mobility are available at Boulevard de l’Empereur 4.

ELECTRICITY & PLUGS
Belgium uses European power plugs (types C and E) at 230V/50Hz. Participants whose devices use a different plug type or voltage should bring appropriate adapters.
EXHIBITION TOURS
We are pleased to offer guided tours of both the Library and the KBR Museum during the conference. Spaces are limited; please select your preferred tour option when completing your conference registration to secure your spot.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Food and beverages are available on site at Albert, the restaurant located within the KBR building. Albert offers lunch and refreshments during opening hours. Please note that food and drinks are not permitted in conference rooms outside designated catering areas.

Visa
