INFORMATION FOR PRESENTERS
- Upload your presentation using this Dropbox link before 3 April.
- Presentations should be in PowerPoint with a 16:9 ratio.
- If you plan to use videos or audio in your panel or presentation, we recommend submitting your slides early to allow time for the AV team to test.
- Please also plan to bring your presentation on a USB stick or your laptop in case of unforeseen technical issues. Mac users must bring their own adapters.
Please refer to the speaker guidelines for more details.
- Lightning talks are strictly limited to 7 minutes or 1 minute (poster presenters). The extended time allocated for lightning talks also covers transitions between presenters, Q&A, and related logistics.
- Avoid including audio, video, and/or clickable links in your slides.
- Posters should be no larger than A1 (594 mm width x 841 mm length) in portrait orientation.
- We expect you to print your poster and bring it to WAC. When you arrive at the conference, you can drop it off at the registration desk.
- Please label your poster with a) poster session number, b) the poster’s short title, and c) the last name of the presenter–and make sure that the label is clearly visible–for organisation and setup purposes.
- You may wish to prepare a handout to attach to your poster and/or include a short URL or QR code linking to an online resource.
- Your poster will be displayed in the Galerie from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday afternoon, and the accompanying 1-minute lightning talks will be presented at a 30-minute poster slam on Tuesday, 21 April in the Auditorium, where presenters will line up in order of the program.
- After the poster slam concludes, presenters and attendees will move to the Galerie for the poster session, during which attendees can move freely to view posters and discuss them further with presenters.
Check the speaker guidelines for more details.
We recommend you bring a back-up of your presentation on a USB stick and/or personal laptop as well as any adapters you may need.
